New Directions in Jewelry Design and Major Clearance Sale

Over the past year I have transitioned away from using miscellaneous beads, wire-wrapping techniques, and ready-made findings. I am currently perfecting techniques for metalsmithing and will be offering rings, cuff bracelets, pendants, earrings, and other items, mostly in sterling silver, but a few in copper or mixed metals. All findings and components will be handmade. Look for these listings to appear over the coming months. You can see some of the work in progress on my Instagram page.

I have developed a love of high-end turquoise, and will be using stones from the US Southwest in a lot of my creations. As I add new metalworking techniques such as casting and inlay, as well as stone-cutting, these will greatly expand the range of designs.

The outcome of all this is that I have a big backlog of the “old stuff” that I have put in a special section marked “Clearance”. These discounts are currently in the range of 50% off the original price.

There will be a second section called “Gemstones” that is primarily genuine stone beads of all types with handmade findings and components. The third category will be “Metalwork”, which will be the new and improved designs, most with high-quality stones and sterling silver.

To free up storage space, I am selling off a big stockpile of prefabricated findings, components, wire, and entry-level gemstone and glass beads. If you are just starting out with your own jewelry-making efforts and would like some bargain supplies, check out my Etsy Shop, which is currently functioning like a garage sale.
